Embedded SW Engineer - Implementation and Test Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop low level software units to ensure they meet requirements.
• Integrate software elements and perform integration verification.
• Design of test cases derived from the specifications.
• Development of re-usable components and modules for automated software testing.
• Development of robust and deterministic tests in python and/or robot framework.
• Maintenance of test components and test cases.
• Conduct automated / semi-automated / manual tests to verify the functionality of embedded devices as well as PC, cellphone or web applications.
• Collaboration and contribution into projects with an international team (incl. participation stand-ups / project meetings).

 

Qualifications:

Required

• Graduate Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Natural Science or Computer Science
• +3 years of experience in software development including software testing
• Proficiency in test methodologies such as Black-Box, White-Box, and regression testing.
• Good experience in Python programming.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn and efficiently integrate into complex systems.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory to effectively communicate and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot)
• Experience in continuous integration and testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development methodologies.
• Experienced in developing condition monitoring systems, sensor applications or  motor controls is preferred.
• ISTQB Certified Tester or similar qualifications are a plus.
