Plant Manager Eisfeld

Drive operational excellence in quality, cost, and safety. As Plant Manager, you lead strategic execution, ensure reliable production for international food & beverage customers, foster continuous improvement through LEAN principles and employee engagement. 

Key responsibilities    

• Develop based on customer demand and internal optimization potentials a short-/ midterm strategy for the plant that guides the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and maximize the business results.
• Lead, develop and manage the operation teams (I would say here then as well plant management team, or management team) to achieve company targets by developing and implementing initiatives based on the planned budget.
• Initiate, drive and review Safety programs /initiatives to make the plant a safe place to work.
• Drive and develop Quality to exceed customer expectations.
• Drive and develop food safety and environmental sustainability initiatives to fulfill legal standards.
• Ensure legal compliance and ethical aspects and exceed legal minimum requirements.
• Drive operational excellence / LEAN and deploy best practices across all operation aspects to meet or exceed business targets as well as customer satisfaction.
• Drive optimizations along the Supply Chain and optimize permanently processes, production flexibility, stock levels and delivery concepts.
• Drive and ensure the “daily business” due to technical, analytical and process know-how (support the departments if needed).
• Ensure an efficient, understandable and transparent communication throughout the organization.
• Develop and shape a culture in which all members work motivated and with passion to improve the performance.
• Hire, build, develop and manage an effective team by identifying and developing talents and actively support their development.
• Analyze and review business performance with insights to be proposed for short/long term initiatives to achievement of defined Targets and KPI´s.
• A completed degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred. 
• + 5 years of plant management experience in an industrial environment. 
• Demonstrated ability to define and communicate a clear vision and purpose, aligning teams with strategic goals.
• Strong track record of delivering measurable results in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration to drive operational success.
• Proven ability to foster a high level of employee engagement and build motivated, high-performing teams.
• Strong customer orientation with a focus on exceeding quality and delivery expectations.
• Committed to continuous improvement and maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.
• Fluent in English and German
