Description
We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and support our behavioral health workforce across the greater Los Angeles market (Burbank, Los Angeles, Whittier, Covina, Pasadena). This individual contributor role is ideal for an HR professional with strong employee relations, coaching and development, and compliance experience who thrives in fast-paced, people-centered environments.Salary: $75,000 – $82,500 + Bonus Opportunity
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
What You’Ll Do
- Act as the primary HR partner for assigned business units, advising leaders on employee relations, performance, and compliance matters.
- Manage leave of absence (LOA) cases, facilitate the ADA interactive process, and oversee workers’ compensation coordination.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, retention, and engagement strategies.
- Use HR systems such as ADP, Pinpoint, or comparable HRIS/ATS/ERM platforms to maintain accurate data and streamline operations.
- Provide onsite HR support at least three (3) days per week; remaining days may be worked from home.
What We’Re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience (advancing from HR Generalist into HRBP).
- Experience with LOA administration, ADA compliance, employee relations, workers’ compensation, coaching and development, and workforce planning.
- Strong partnership skills supporting operations leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification highly valued.
- Experience in behavioral health or medical industries strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel locally across LA market sites.
