Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

1.    Responsible for all planning-related activities, including but not limited to production planning, capacity utilization, package material availability, and management of non-MRO part inventory levels and aging.
2.    Serve as a liaison between commercial teams (order receipt), customers (delivery coordination), regional/global planning teams (capacity allocation), system plants (resource sharing), quality, production, and engineering.
3.    Identify and pursue process improvement opportunities to drive high production performance, reduce inventory costs, and minimize job changes.
4.    Collaborate with regional and global planning teams on mid- and long-term capacity scheduling and package material allocation; source resources both internally and externally; and provide support to sister plants.
5.    Track compliance with the global Master Production Schedule (MPS), analyze root causes of non-compliance, and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
6.    Support Division and Plant improvement projects and initiatives from a One Supply Chain perspective.
7.    Manage inventory levels and turnover; track and report assigned items to ensure goals are met.
8.    Monitor and manage non-standard and aged FS/FG inventory.
9.    Continuously enhance scheduling tools, processes, documentation, and standardization efforts.
10.    Lead the team, fostering growth and development.

Education & Experience

• •    Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• •    Over 10 years of experience in production planning or demand-supply planning with a multinational or international company.
• •    Proven experience in project leadership is required.

Required Skills

• MS package, good at data analysis.
• Workable in English communication.
• Experience with SAP PP module.
