Join Our Quest: AI/ML Engineer Internship Opportunity

As an AI/ML Intern at the KMS Innovation Center, you will have the unique opportunity to work on the forefront of AI and emerging technologies. You will contribute to the development and evaluation of AI-driven tools and solutions, enhancing our software development lifecycle and meeting the dynamic needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to coding, debugging, testing, and documenting software features to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with senior engineers and technical leaders, following best practices in software development, version control, and agile processes.
• Support the development of scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions tailored to customer and business needs.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team discussions to improve overall code quality and development workflow.
• Engage in continuous learning to strengthen your technical skills, stay updated on modern web development trends, and explore emerging areas such as LLMs or AI-driven applications (a plus, not required).

Qualifications

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, with hands-on experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Strong coding skills in at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java), with the ability to contribute to software development tasks.
• Familiarity with software development best practices such as version control (Git), debugging, and testing.
• Available to commit at least 3.5 days per week for 3–6 months.
• Proficient in English with the ability to clearly communicate and comprehend technical concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively and work in a team environment.

Nice to Have (Plus Points)

• Experience or strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or AI Agents.
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or NLP concepts.
• Previous contributions to personal, academic, or open-source projects showcasing applied skills in AI-driven applications.
