Join us in this role where you’ll take ownership of developing and executing credit-related risk initiatives. You’ll be instrumental in evolving our credit risk practices to meet future demands and support the energy transition.
Welcome to Group Risk
You’ll be part of the Credit, Liquidity & FinReg Risk team where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for building and operating a strong 2nd line credit risk function. You will collaborate across markets and functions to strengthen Ørsted’s credit risk management. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in Group Risk as well as across Ørsted’s business areas including Procurement, Trading, and M&A to ensure robust and forward-looking credit risk practices.
As a team, we work on analytical as well as strategic tasks, share knowledge openly, and collaborate on shaping credit risk solutions. We emphasize clear accountability while encouraging autonomy and growth.
You’ll play an important role in:
- performing in-depth credit assessments and ratings for the most critical counterparties, ensuring sound decision-making and risk understanding
- applying quantitative methods and risk modelling expertise to enhance the accuracy and relevance of credit risk tools and analysis
- ensuring that we the right documentation for our processes in place
- leading strategic credit risk projects that go beyond traditional operations and contribute to the development of Ørsted's future risk framework
- building alignment on risk strategy and execution through cross-functional collaboration within Group Risk
- contributing to the strengthening and development of the 2nd line credit risk function, ensuring the approach is robust and forward-looking.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have experience in credit risk management/analysis/modelling, preferably from the banking sector
- are skilled in quantitative analysis and risk modelling
- possess practical experience in conducting credit risk assessments and assigning ratings
- capable of turning analysis into clear, actionable communication for stakeholders
- strive by doing a mix of analytical tasks and driving credit projects forward
- able to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
- have ability to translate strategic priorities into practical, coordinated solutions.
