We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer to join our fast-paced team. This role will drive the technical direction of platform initiatives, with a strong emphasis on GitOps-based CI/CD, Kubernetes orchestration, and Grafana-powered observability. You will be instrumental in designing secure, scalable, and reusable cloud-native solutions using AWS, while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence across squads.
 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions using AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for building robust solutions.

As a member of the Customer Data Technology domain, working in the Customer Crew you will contribute to the technology products and services we deliver, from architecture, technical design and coding to deployment to operation. The squad is focused on providing innovative business analytics service that support all the Business Units in the bank,

The role is a Staff Platform Engineer will be to enable these solution using AWS native cloud solution including the AI factory services available on AWS

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

• Architect and operate scalable Kubernetes clusters using Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows.
• Design and implement observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
• Lead platform automation and CI/CD initiatives using GitOps principles (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define platform SLAs and reliability goals.
• Champion DevSecOps practices and ensure security and testing are embedded by design.
• Contribute to reusable patterns and endorse new designs for broader adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.

Tech Skills

This is a hands-on design and build role, requiring expert knowledge in AWS Cloud capability tools, languages, and frameworks. You’ll be a good match if you have previous experience in:

• Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• AWS Cloud experience and certification including
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Proven experience implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of distributed tracing, metrics, and logs.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and platform reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with full SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
