Senior Finance Specialist - Payroll

At Mars ANZ, we’re on the hunt for a Senior Finance Specialist - Payroll to join our Global Services Finance team.

You’ll support exciting payroll projects—from system upgrades to policy changes—making sure everything runs smoothly and our associates feel the impact (in a good way!).

Alongside projects, you’ll also manage payroll accounting and compliance, keeping things accurate, efficient, and future-ready.

What You’Ll Do:

• Support payroll projects & initiatives (system upgrades, compliance changes, process improvements).
• Partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver flawless execution.
• Oversee payroll accounting & controls, ensuring compliance with finance standards & legislation.
• Support payroll processing, provide training, and help drive continuous improvement.

What We’Re Looking For:

• Experience in accounting including managing provisions for leave liabilities, amortisation of prepayments and employee expense management.
• Knowledge of payroll systems, compliance, and payroll process improvement.
• A proactive mindset with a knack for problem-solving and building meaningful stakeholder relationships.
• Someone who loves working at pace and making complex processes simple.
