Job Description

Summary:

The Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing vehicle deals, maintaining organized records, and supporting the dealership's administrative and accounting functions.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting.
• Organize all deal paperwork; check for completeness (verify costs and profits, signatures, VIN, etc.).
• Process dealer trades in and out and process finance cancelations.
• Performing schedule reviews and reconciliation throughout the month.
• Work with the F&I department to ensure timely deal processing.
• Process wholesales.
• Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing as soon as money is received in house.
• Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
• Assist with filing and scanning.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or back office automotive dealership experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles. 
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
• Detail-oriented and time-management skills .
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have previous Billing Clerk automotive experience.
• Previous experience with CDK.

Additional Information

Compensation (Hourly):

• $24.00 - 28.00 / hour
• Based on experience and qualifications

*The Billing Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $24.00 and $28.00 / hour*

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm
• Overtime required on first business day of the month
