Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements across global financial reporting processes
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial reporting risks.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including documentation and remediation of control deficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve control effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and support the development of risk-based control strategies.
- Maintain and update internal control documentation in line with regulatory and corporate standards.
- Provide training and guidance to process owners on internal control requirements and best practices.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and control processes.
- Monitor changes in regulations and accounting standards to ensure timely adaptation of controls.
- Assist in the development and implementation of global ICS policies and procedures.
- Report key control metrics and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Long-term experience in financial reporting, internal controls, or audit (Big Four experience is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, SOX) and financial reporting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Possibility to occasional travel (international).
- High level of integrity, accountability, and a proactive mindset.
