Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. As a trusted technical advisor, the successful candidate will provide expert guidance and architectural leadership on our most complex and critical technology initiatives. This strategic role requires you to partner with clients and internal teams to design and validate robust, scalable solutions across diverse technology stacks and cloud-native environments. This position demands deep technical acumen and the ability to lead through influence, mentoring teams and translating complex business challenges into elegant and sustainable technical architectures that drive significant business value.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Provide expert-level technical guidance and thought leadership to both clients and internal engineering teams.
- Architect and Design: Lead the high-level design and architectural strategy for complex, scalable, and resilient enterprise systems across various platforms.
- Lead Through Influence: Mentor and empower technical teams by establishing best practices, conducting architectural reviews, and solving the most challenging technical obstacles.
- Bridge Business and Technology: Excel at translating ambiguous business requirements into clear, actionable technical blueprints that deliver tangible value.
Key Responsibilities
Following areas within the practice in which solution development, market attraction and delivery are required.
1) Technical Aptitude:
- Proven technical experience within the Cloud and Data domain space. Demonstrable examples of the management of solution delivery and scoping of migration and modernization projects in both cloud and data domains.
- Lead the scoping, design, and delivery of cloud migration, modernization, and data transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Provide expert-level technical consulting across AWS, GCP, Azure, as well as hybrid and multi-cloud environments
2) Industry Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Cloud and Data solutions to advise clients and influence practice direction.
- Apply strong knowledge of managed cloud hosting, FinOps, and market-leading practices to shape solution offerings.
- Demonstrate practical experience in AI/ML, automation, and intelligent data processing, bringing innovation into client engagements.
- Exhibit excellent understanding of the managed cloud hosting business concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure), market practices and trends.
3) Process Engineering:
- Spearhead process engineering initiatives to streamline cloud adoption and operations.
- Design and implement repeatable frameworks and playbooks that accelerate delivery while maintaining governance and quality.
- Implement scalable processes that ensure seamless integration of cloud services into business operations
4) Roles & Responsibilities Framework
- Define and formalize roles, responsibilities, and operating models for cloud service adoption and management teams.
- Ensure clear accountability and alignment between client stakeholders, delivery teams, and business objectives.
- Support organizational change by embedding process, governance, and compliance models into client environments.
5) Leadership And Mentoring:
- Team Guidance: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of guiding team members on the latest technologies and best practices.
- Client Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and delivering on client expectations.
- Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership that inspires innovation and new ways of engineering within the team and for client solutions.
6) Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to client executives and technical leaders, aligning technology strategies with business priorities.
- Lead client workshops, assessments, and design sessions, translating business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive engagement, measurable outcomes, and clear communication.
- Identify opportunities for business growth by expanding client relationships and influencing long-term transformation journeys.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies, specific focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) (GCP or AWS Certified necessary).
- Cloud Migration Projects: Hands-on experience in migrating projects to cloud environments.
- Large-Scale Environments: Exposure to large-scale environments involving 100k+ users and managing terabytes of data.
- Proven experience in operational model development, particularly in cloud service environments.
- Expertise in process engineering and implementing Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to conduct skills assessments and develop talent development programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership Excellence: Ability to inspire and guide teams, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills can convey complex ideas effectively.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proficiency in building productive internal and external relationships and fostering teamwork.
- Emotional Intelligence: High self-awareness and empathy, skilled in managing personal emotions and understanding others.
