We’re looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting our businesses across the Asia Pacific region.  In this role, you will assist with aspects of international tax planning, reporting and compliance for our business entities in Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and the Pacific Islands, collaborating with our U.S. corporate tax team, international finance groups, legal, external tax advisors and government authorities.

Job Description

Here is some of what you’ll be doing:

• Keeping our direct tax compliance on track across multiple jurisdictions and making sure deadlines are met.
• Manage the completion and submission of all US Tax Packages to the US Corporate Tax team.
• Monitor compliance on indirect taxes (GST, WHT, FBT, freight taxes) and provide technical support to business units.
• Diving into tax research to interpret laws and help the business stay ahead.
• Assist with tax audits and protecting the company’s interests.
• Preparing current and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3+ years in public accounting.
• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
• Practical experience in tax compliance and preparing tax advice, ideally from a Big 4 or multinational setting.
• Bonus points if you have exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, or cross-border transactions.
• A curious mind, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to share your expertise – you are someone not afraid to challenge the status quo!

This is a full-time permanent role based in our Suva, Fiji office. You will have the right to live and work in Fiji at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
