Senior Manager IT Internal Controls

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY

What You'Ll Do

• Reporting to the Director of Internal Controls, lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT general controls across StubHub’s systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Partner with Engineering, Corporate IT & Security, Finance, and Compliance leaders to ensure end-to-end risk management and control effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive IT control framework that addresses regulatory requirements, industry standards with a primary focus on SOX 404 compliance.
• Manage and direct a co-sourced team from a Big 4 consulting firm, ensuring alignment on deliverables, quality, and timelines.
• Oversee and coordinate IT control testing, documentation, and remediation activities, ensuring timely closure of control gaps.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership on IT risk, governance, and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison between external auditors and StubHub management, facilitating clear communication, resolving issues, and ensuring audit readiness.

What You'Ve Done

• 8+ years of experience in IT risk management, internal controls, audit, or related disciplines.
• Strong expertise in IT control frameworks (SOX 404, COBIT, COSO, ISO, NIST, etc.).
• Proven ability to design and implement effective controls in complex IT environments (in-house developed software, cloud, on-prem, SaaS).
• Lead remediation efforts over IT general control deficiencies
• Demonstrated experience leading IT control programs in large or fast-scaling organizations.
• Experience in marketplace or technology industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SOX compliance.
• Experience with in-house developed software, NetSuite is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• CISA, CISM, CRISC, CPA or equivalent certifications, a plus.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
