Position Title: Construction Site Manager

Coupang is expanding its logistics footprint in Taiwan and is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the on-site execution of its new logistics center in Taipei. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of a high-efficiency, tech-enabled logistics facility that supports Coupang’s mission to revolutionize e-commerce logistics in Asia.

What will you do?

• Site Management & Execution
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site engineers, and labor teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor construction progress and adjust schedules and resources to meet project milestones.
• Quality & Safety Assurance
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and local building codes.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and lead daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Project Coordination
• Collaborate with Coupang’s internal project management, design, and procurement teams.
• Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and inspections.
• Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and waste disposal.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Provide regular updates to the project manager on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Support cost control efforts by tracking material usage and labor productivity.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in site supervision or construction management, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of Taiwanese construction laws, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or BIM tools).
• English proficiency is a strong advantage.

Preferred Certifications:

• Taiwan Professional Engineer License (土木技師 or 建築技師)
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Safety Supervisor Certification (職業安全衛生管理員)
