Role Overview
As a Manager of Business Analyst for Rocket Growth Sales, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide data management processes such as accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA code, organizing data and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for business performance.
- Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.
- Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Taking ownership of reporting processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely with a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience delivering forecasting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Strong knowledge of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau or other tools) and data storytelling to communicate insights effectively to non-experts
- Clearly communicates goals, roles, responsibilities, success metrics and desired outcomes to cross functional-project teams and program stakeholders
- Works independently, but also influences and manages project status with stakeholders, and test or implement new ideas or process improvements.
- When an issue arises, dive deep into the roots of the issue, propose solutions supported by data and facts and share impact.
- Business-level fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of statistics, ML techniques
- Previous experience in e-commerce, logistics
- xperience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. Business Growth, operational improvements.
- Experience working cross-functionally with a wide breadth of business roles, stakeholders and leaders
- Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive, and results-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
