Senior Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable)

At NTU Shared Services (NSS) Finance, we ensure smooth and efficient financial operations across NTU. The Student Finance team plays a vital role in supporting students’ financial journeys—from billing to scholarships, financial assistance, and fee collection.

As a key member of Student Finance, you will manage scholarships, awards, and financial assistance schemes, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities:

• Process scholarships, awards, and Financial Assistance Scheme payments to students accurately and on time.
• Ensure all disbursements comply with NTU policies and guidelines.
• Prepare claims for Ministries, statutory boards, and other funding agencies.
• Post journal entries, including GIRO payments, and assist in month-end processes.
• Generate management reports to support financial analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and streamline workflows.

Qualification:

• Diploma in relevant disciplines with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to work under pressure
• Service-oriented, be hands-on, meticulous, analytical and have initiative
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and IT savvy, SAP knowledge is preferred
• Knowledge of Power Query or Power Automate is an advantage
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
