About The Role

Daylit is hiring a hands-on GTM Engineer to own the data, tooling, and experiments that drive pipeline. This role blends software/data engineering with growth strategy: you’ll design ICP and messaging tests, run channel experiments, build and tune lead-scoring, and automate targeted outreach by stitching together intent signals and our CRM.

What You’Ll Do

 ICP, Segmentation & Messaging Experiments

  • Design and run structured tests to refine our ICP(s), priority segments, and resonant messaging/value props.
  • Stand up rapid landing pages, forms, and tracking to quantify message-market fit.

Channel & ROI Experimentation

  • Plan, launch, and evaluate GTM experiments across paid, outbound, co-marketing/partner, and community channels.
  • Build an experimentation backlog with hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and clear “kill/scale” criteria.

Lead Scoring & Routing

  • Build a first pass lead scoring model that blends firmographics, technographics, behavioral data, and intent.
  • Continuously retrain/recalibrate using closed-won/lost feedback; deploy automated routing & SLAs to sales.

CRM Data Engineering & Enrichment

  • Own CRM hygiene: dedupe, normalize, and enrich accounts/contacts; implement strict schema governance.
  • Build data pipelines to pull/clean/unify signals (website, product usage, ad platforms, email, partner sources).

Intent Signals & Targeted Outreach Automation

  • Operationalize buying intent (page activity, search topics, tech installs, hiring, funding, third-party intent).
  • Use Clay and Unify (or similar) to programmatically source lists, enrich targets, personalize snippets, and trigger multi-step outreach sequences.

Martech & Analytics

  • Extend our stack (HubSpot + warehouse + reverse ETL) with clean event instrumentation and UTM discipline.
  • Ship dashboards that connect effort → pipeline → revenue; maintain source-of-truth tables for GTM.

Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Partner with Sales on cadences and handoffs; with Product/Design on landing pages and tracking; with Leadership to set weekly growth scorecards.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record designing experiments (A/B, multi-armed bandit or sequential tests), defining metrics, and making go/no-go calls from data.
  • Experience cleaning, normalizing, and enriching CRM data; strong grasp of identity resolution/deduping.
  • Ability to operationalize intent signals and automate outreach using tools like Clay and Unify (or comparable).
  • 3+ years in software/data engineering or growth/marketing engineering at a B2B company or startup.
  • Comfort in Python, JavaScript, or SQL; comfort working from a warehouse (BigQuery/Snowflake/Postgres).
  • Hands-on with HubSpot (or similar CRM/MA): custom objects, workflows, scoring, and reporting.
  • Clear communicator who can translate data into decisions and ship iteratively.
  • Experience in B2B fintech or selling into finance/operations personas.
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines (Segment, dbt, Airbyte/Fivetran, Reverse ETL like Hightouch/Census).
  • Knowledge of growth accounting and attribution (CAC, ROAS, MER, multi-touch models, MMM basics).
  • Comfort spinning up lightweight front ends/landing pages and instrumenting end-to-end tracking.
