Your Mission
As our SLED Channel Sales Representative, you’ll play a critical role in defending the infrastructure that keeps
our communities running. You’ll work with trusted partners, pursue strategic contracts, and drive growth in the
State, Local, and Education (SLED) sectors across Texas and the Southeast.
This isn’t a 9-to-5 job. It’s an opportunity to use your strategic mindset, leadership, and execution skills to
make a real impact.
Your Objectives
• Drive the full sales cycle, from opportunity to contract, with public-sector clients across Texas and the
Southeast.
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with resellers and systems integrators. Not just handshakes, mission-
Aligned Collaborations.
- Lead RFP responses with precision, writing, managing, and submitting proposals that win.
- Deliver live demos that connect with both technical and non-technical decision makers.
- Represent ON2IT at industry events, webinars, and partner forums.
- Work closely with CIOs, CISOs, and procurement leads to design security solutions that work in the real
World.
- Stay resilient and persistent. You don’t give up aXer one “no”, you build trust over time.
- Constantly learn, adapt, and take ownership.
Requirements
You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, managed services, or public-sector tech sales.
- Proven track record with SLED sales and public procurement (knowledge of Texas DIR a big plus).
- RFP expertise, you’ve run the process, not just forwarded the docs.
- Tactical execution and operational excellence project management comes naturally.
- Technical know-how, you can clearly explain how firewalls, XDR, and our platform work to protect what
Matters.
- Channel partner experience, you know how to collaborate for win-win outcomes.
- A mission-driven mindset, personal accountability, and the drive to finish what you start.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site when needed for training, events, and customer and team engagement.
