Senior Data Analyst / Project Lead (f/m/x)

Your role at ZEISS Digital: As a Senior Data Analyst / Project Lead, you’ll be a key contributor to our digital transformation journey and steer projects but also develop and support hands-on as a Data Analyst. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategic, data-driven solutions that support for example sustainability, supply chain optimization, and procurement excellence. Your Role

• Stakeholder Collaboration, Business Understanding & KPI Generation: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, implement business logic and co-create impactful KPIs
• Data Processing and Transformation: Process & transform data in the area of e.g. procurement, supply chain or sustainability
• Visualize impact: Create dashboards and reports that make complex insights accessible and actionable
• Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and oversee data projects or data products including requirements engineering
• Technology Scouting & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of trends in data, AI, and analytics to continuously improve our tools and methods
• Mentorship: Support junior analysts and foster a culture of learning and inclusion

Your Profile

• Master's degree in a STEM subject, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in data analysis, ideally in a senior role
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication skills in English and German, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Power BI and Databricks
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and confidence to challenge the status quo
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or sustainability is a plus
• Experience in working in a Cloud & CICD environment is a plus
