Position Summary

Job Profile SummaryThis position will play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing our cloud based data ingestion infrastructure. The role will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our database systems while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Required Qualifications

• Deep operational expertise in building Data Pipelines / ETL in GCP eco system
• Strong Experience with GCP
• A strategic mindset to drive database solutions that align with our commitment to reliability and sustainability
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines, Database/Schema as Code tools, and Git workflows.
• Expert level experience analyzing and tuning queries to improve application performance.
• Advanced knowledge of BigQuery architecture and performance tuning
• Advanced knowledge of operating databases at large scale in cloud-managed environments including optimizing for cpu, memory,IO usage and cost management.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Flyway.
• Strong understanding of security practices and compliance frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of Relational Databases internals (Postgres / SQL Server), index design, statistics and wait types.
• Preferred Qualifications
• 7 + years experience related to Required Qualifications

Experience working on CVS internal data ingestion framework using EDM/EDI

Education
Bachelor in CS or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
