The Product Recall Principal Specialist will work with the Product Recall team within the Escapes Management organization under P&W Group Quality. The function of the Product Recall Principal Specialist is to assist and guide the module center Investigation Managers/Quality Engineers in their investigation and assist facilitating any escape through the Product Recall process. This may include review and approval of escape launches and packages, issuance of field action notifications if required, and development of processes and standard work. 

What You Will Do:

  • The candidate must be able to work with limited supervision. Support the Module Centers in population bounding activities and must be able to independently represent Product Recall in Problem Resolution Team (PRT) Pre-Board reviews and approvals.
  • The PR Principle Specialist will work closely with Engineering, Quality Investigation Managers or the escape owner, Program Quality Managers, the Engine/Module Centers and their Directors to ensure that investigations are supported in a timely manner through all steps and to minimize risk and impact on product delivery.
  • The candidate will also ensure the consistent deployment of RTX CORE tools to drive key business process evolution and improvement as well as robust Root Cause and Corrective Actions and implementation. 
  • This job is a critical position to support engine production, improve the Quality signature of the company, drive proper quality performance, and track quality outputs. It is also a key process in the escape analysis and effectively providing results to the various P&W Process Council teams for initiatives and strategies and input to the QMR Quality Management System and improvement of P&W’s quality signature.
  • This is a 1st shift position. Additional support MAY be required outside of the regular Monday - Friday to support production activities during non-business hours (evenings and holidays).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree with or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of Quality, Operations or Engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Actions.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with developing processes and writing standard work.
  • Confidence to uphold the safety and quality first mindset.
  • Engineering/Technical background such as familiarity with reading blueprints and specifications.
  • SAP P10 for at least QN processing and willingness to learn SAP transactions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Basic knowledge in FIORI, Qlik, SharePoint and Power Apps, and Power BI.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
