Solutions Architect - Cloud Migration & Modernization

We're looking for a skilled Solutions Architect to join our team, focusing on cloud migration and application modernization. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure and application transformation to deliver robust, scalable, and resilient cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in cloud platforms and a proven ability to guide complex modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies, including Re-Host/Containers, Re-Platform/Refactor, and Decompose approaches.
• Application Modernization: Drive the transformation of monolithic applications into cloud-native, hyper-scale applications using microservices architecture. This includes designing solutions that are adaptable, resilient, and optimized for a cloud environment.
• Platform Expertise: Architect solutions utilizing key cloud services such as EC2, ECS, AWS Gateway, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight for migration and modernization projects, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and business goals.
• Reliability & Innovation: Focus on improving application reliability and innovation through SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and DevOps principles.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various teams to analyze application adaptability, resiliency, and flexibility, providing recommendations for remediation and a path to a cloud-enabled state.
• New Technologies: Leverage emerging technologies like AI/ML, AR/VR, 5G, and Edge computing to create innovative business solutions and enhance customer experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly with large-scale cloud migration and application modernization projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (ECS).
• Experience with SRE, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
