Security Senior Director

The Security Senior Director will lead and manage the security operations and strategy for our Defense Business Unit. This role is critical to ensuring the protection of our personnel, assets, and information, as well as maintaining compliance with all applicable security regulations and standards. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Security Senior Director, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Defense customers. You will play a crucial role in Leadership & Strategy of the Security Function, Counterintelligence, Clearance Management and Compliance & Risk Management.
● Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

● Develop strategic security initiatives to mitigate risks and enhance the overall security posture of the Defense Business Unit.

● Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Lead/Manage/Support a highly motivated and global dispersed Team.
• ● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure value add to the mission while working efficiently.
• ● Drive a positive work environment that promotes curiosity and Mission support
• ● Utilize security technology to support a forward leaning Team with focus on people and mission.
• WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bring your Security Leadership and expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Security Sr Director must have:
• ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• ● Experience: 15+ years of related experience
• ● Technical skills: Strong overall technical skills- SIMS, CCURE, Minerva, DISS, NBIS, ACCS in addition to Microsoft Suite; experience with classified systems
• ● Security clearance level: Top Secret, ability to obtain SCI
• ● US citizenship required
• ● Role requirements: Strong oral and written communication skills, experience leading a large geographically dispersed team. Full understanding of Government regulations involving security.

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
