Job Description
Join LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam as an NPI Specialist and help bring new products to life!
The NPI Specialist ensures a smooth and efficient introduction of new products and platforms into production by establishing accurate routings, process standards, and documentation aligned with global Industrial Engineering (IE) guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Create, optimize, and maintain Routing and Work Descriptions (WD) to support production efficiency and planning.
- Ensure WDs, Routing comply with global Industrial Engineering rules and standards.
- Collaborate with IE, Production, and Engineering teams to provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in testing and validation of new products and technologies, ensuring a seamless handover to production.
- Manage and maintain accurate system data (e.g., routings, PVs, WDs), and document changes in a structured and traceable manner.

NPI incorporates the Industrial Engineering team and equipment, process and project engineers with focus on:
- Ability to take in and ramp up new lines and new technologies (new/unique line installation + hand over to production)
- Upgrades the standard platforms/processes/layouts
- Novelty Introduction and validation of current routings
- Testing of new materials / dual source
- Collaboration with other sites and sharing the best practices related to processes and technologies
- Support Shopfloor for smooth production
This role connects engineering, production, and support teams to optimize manufacturing readiness, improve product quality, and drive continuous improvement using data-driven tools and lean principles.
Industrial Engineers in this role also contribute to global standardization efforts across sites.
Do you have what it takes?
- Degree at Technical University
- Overall work experience: 2+ years in engineering area (preferably in global environment due to daily communication in foreign language, dealing with different cultures, working across time zones)
- Working knowledge of SAP and Power BI at user level is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with quality tools and lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- English proficiency at a working level to communicate effectively in an international environment.
