The Senior Sales Executive/Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a plan to manage existing relationships and develop new wholesale client relationships in Switzerland.  You will be expected to help build and grow a profitable and diversified wholesale business to to meet AUM targets.  A key focus will be deepening relationships in the French-Speaking Switzerland Wholesale segment in coordination with manager in charge of the region.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing clients and be very knowledgeable about the local marketplace. You will have a deep understanding of the needs of clients and the potential solutions to meet their needs. The successful candidate will likely have 5-10 years experience.  

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Sales Executive/Sales Manage​r?

  • Develop a plan to contribute to the wholesale market and sales objectives within Switzerland
  • Independently develop and lead opportunities with potential clients
  • Build relationships with the SIMs and FT functions, such as Marketing, Product and Sales colleagues
  • Work with colleagues to develop customized solutions to suit client requirements
  • Independently lead the resolution of client issues in conjunction with relevant colleagues
  • Independently identify new business opportunities
  • Achieve defined targets and market share
  • Develop and deepen assigned clients relationships
  • Contribute towards the development of the FT brand in Switzerland through engagement with clients, external stakeholders, industry peers, media and vendors.
  • Works with Marketing to develop and execute a marketing plan for Switzerland.
  • Contribute towards the development of the regional sales strategy
  • Maintains the appropriate internal CRM and other records

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Ideally IMC or equivalent qualified
  • 5-10 years experience of the PB market and financial markets
  • Comfortable with providing and explaining analysis to clients and answer any queries
  • Strong track record in sales within the Swiss wholesale market
  • Excellent relationship management and presentation skills 
  • Motivated self-starter, well organised and excellent communication skills
  • French and English language skills required
