BRA Labs Lead Devops

About The Role

• We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Reporting Technology Team and contribute to building, scaling, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployments.
• This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and SRE teams to foster a culture of automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Maintain and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace).
• Manage and scale containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are cloud-ready and resilient.
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure, pipelines, and secrets management.
• Support and improve incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
• Advocate for and enforce a DevOps culture that emphasizes automation, self-service, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid background with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPCs, service mesh).
• Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Exposure to chaos engineering and resilience testing.
