About The Role

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, social first creative Content Creator to join our Melbourne studio. This role is perfect for someone who loves being behind the camera, thrives in the edit suite, and gets excited about turning bold ideas into scroll-stopping content.

From shooting and editing social content to brainstorming and jumping on social trends, you’ll work closely with our talented creative, production and social teams to deliver content that not only excites audiences but also drives real results. You’ll be responsible for

In this role, you’ll take on a variety of exciting challenges such as:

• Creating high-quality video and digital content for social use, from quick-hit reels to polished storytelling pieces.
• Filming and editing content that grabs attention and keeps viewers engaged.
• Developing content calendars and responding to briefs with fresh, attention-grabbing ideas that stand out in fast-moving feeds.
• Producing a wide range of content, including reels, case studies, testimonials, behind-the-scenes clips, and campaign highlights.
• Collaborating across teams — Producers, Creatives, Social Media Specialists, Strategists, and Account Directors — to ensure every piece of content is on brand, effective, and impactful.

Experience, skills, and expertise

We are looking for someone who brings a mix of technical skills, creative flair, and drive. Ideally, you have:

• A strong portfolio showcasing your videography and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), CapCut or equivalent editing tools.
• Experience directing shoots end-to-end, from camera operation to lighting and audio.
• A natural eye for framing, pacing, and storytelling.
• A solid understanding of social-first content and what performs across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach with teams, clients and talent, including kids.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver creative solutions under tight deadlines.

Highly desirable but not essential

• Previous experience working in a creative agency or production studio.
• Experience working with talent on shoots.
• Familiarity with paid ad formats across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• The ability to create static graphic assets (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of performance-driven content and social media analytics.

• Brainstormed content ideas alongside our recipe tester and food stylist for shooting in the commercial kitchen
• Worked with kids, adults and even animals to shoot and edit social first content on Iphone
• Supported the social team on curating micro influencers and content creators
• Enjoyed the sun and a South Melbourne sandwich with your workmates on the office rooftop
