Principal Responsibilities

Clean dishes according to Standards.
Cleans and organizes equipment and work area.
Control usage of store supplies.
Notify Supervisor of damage to or problems with equipment.
Control the use of dishwashing equipment, feed detergents and checks temperature controls
Safe and effective use of equipment.
Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
Be fully aware of Fire and Emergency Procedure and your role therein.
Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Name Tag must be visible at all times.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Service given should meet and/or exceed the guest service standards of the Chelsea Hotel.

Customer Satisfaction

Answer any guest or employee questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Process Improvement/ Productivity

Open communication with Managers to report challenges or issues.
All tasks are to be completed in accordance with the practices and policies of the Chelsea Hotel.
ACADEMIC AND WORKING QUALIFICATIONS
Working Experience
 Previous dishwashing or stewarding experience an asset
Soft Skills
 Be able to work effectively on a team.
 Strong work ethic.

Language
 Good command of the English language both written and oral.

Physical Requirements
 Able to stand for long periods of time.
 Able to bend , lift, and push
 Able to work in a humid and warm environment
