The Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE), part of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IME) within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), is offering two part-time student research assistant positions (10 hours/week). Employment period: 13 October 2025 - 12 October 2026.
Research Focus: Selected candidates will contribute to the fabrication and characterization of:
- Electrolytic capacitors
- Metallized film capacitors
Required Qualifications:
- Theoretical knowledge of advanced electronics
- Hands-on experience in capacitor fabrication and characterization
- Familiarity with advanced techniques such as:
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
This is a great opportunity for students passionate about electronics and materials science to gain research experience in an innovative scientific environment.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
