Role and Responsibilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the contract employee is occasionally required to stand, clean, crawl, kneel, sit, sort, hold, squat, stoop, stand, twist the body, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders and scaffolding, talk or hear, and lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Software Developer (Python) - Data/Bi Applications to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create actionable business intelligence dashboards that lead to improvement in processes, and hardware and software products.
- Create Wireless Network RAN KPI (Radio Access Network key performance indicators) dashboards and supporting data sources such that it improves team efficiency in monitoring and measuring network performance.
- Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python/R by automating reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights.
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau analytics dashboards that promote self-service analytics.
- Utilize various Tableau functionalities like Tableau Extracts, Parameters, Contexts Filters, Data Source Filters, Actions, Charts, Trends, Forecasting, Clustering, Sets, Groups, Table/LOD Calculations, Maps, etc. to create advance reports and executive dashboards.
- Create map visualizations by utilizing Tableau geospatial and mapping features.
- Develop and promote automation through the use of email or stored reports.
- Write complicated, efficient SQL queries and stored procedures that will assist in preparing various data sources for use in Tableau.
- Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decision-making.
- Develop data pipelines using Delta Live tables on Databricks to load, transform data for optimal data movement to meet the balance between compute and efficiency.
- Create and maintain DLT and Tableau extracts where necessary.
- Work with various business teams to gather and understand reports and dashboard requirements.
- Use agile methodologies, principles and practices to plan, manage, and deliver high quality products and services to our internal and external customers.
- Track project status and deliverables, and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
- Plan and organize demos and product testing.
- Train, mentor, and support Tableau users.
- Support ongoing technology evaluation process and proof of concept projects.
- 7+ years of SQL, Python,ETL,Airflow experience is required and min of 2 years of Experience using AWS and Databricks required
- 5+ years of experience in using Tableau in a corporate environment and developing complex dashboards and visualization. Experience in Tableau Prep is preferred.
- 2+ years of Alteryx experience and Alteryx Designer Expert certification is preferred.
- Tableau Desktop Specialist certification is required. Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification preferred. Tableau Server Certified Associate certification is a plus.
- Knowledge in statistical concepts is preferred.
- Strong understanding of BI application design and development principles.
- Advance knowledge and expertise in creating custom SQL queries is required. Ability to write complicated, efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum is a preferred. Scrum certification is a plus.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze complex high volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources.
- Complete understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation.
- Ability to understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable Business Insights.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation and automation of Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
- Telecommunications industry background is a plus. Experience with wireless infrastructure provider and/or operator is desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving experience. Demonstrated research and problem solving skills via prior work experience.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
