• Role Overview
• This is a senior backend development role with room for architectural input. You will:
• Write, test, and deploy production-grade code in TypeScript on Node.js
• Help design APIs and think through system architecture with scalability, resilience, and security in mind
• Contribute in designing and implementing secure, cloud-native applications that make integrations smooth and reliable (DevOPS mindset)
• Contribute to our event-driven architecture, experimenting and refining as we go
• Collaborate closely with teammates in a cross-functional, forward-thinking environment
• Take part in operating and continuously improving the services we run

About The Team

• We’re the integration team: our mission is to remove friction between payment terminals, cash register systems, and the broader payment infrastructure.

• This role is based in Espoo, Finland, with hybrid work as the default. Candidates should be located within commuting distance of the office.
• What You Bring
• We’re looking for someone proactive and curious: a developer who takes initiative, shares ideas, and enjoys solving complex problems. You care about security, testing, and clean design.
• Our stack includes: TypeScript (Node.js), AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform/CDK, Redis/MemoryDB and PostgreSQL
• You don’t need to know every piece already — strong fundamentals and the ability to learn matter most. We’ll support you in growing your skills as you help us push digital payments forward.
