Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Governance Portfolio Specialist,  you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan. The role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of IT cost structures and approval processes, and the ability to interface with various stakeholders, including mid-to-senior management.

About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:

  • Map and monitor ongoing activities across the area, preparing regular and ad-hoc progress summaries tailored to different reporting levels.
  • Support budget analysis and ongoing monitoring, ensuring alignment with the activity plan under the supervision of the manager and peers.
  • Analyze team and IT factory resource allocations to identify optimization opportunities and avoid inefficiencies, delays, or cost overruns.
  • Collect, consolidate, and report on project performance data (scope, timeline, costs), providing clear and actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present concise project overviews and reporting outputs for managerial audiences.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and maintain implementation frameworks (CANVAS) across cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in the review and streamlining of intra- and inter-departmental processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with overall governance practices.

  • We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here’s what we value:
  • Proven experience with Business Case modelling and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of IT cost definition and approval processes (including vendor and procurement cycles).
  • Solid understanding of budgeting processes and tools, including monitoring and forecasting.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive attitude

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IT delivery models and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with large-scale transformation or multi-project environments.
  • Previous experience in a Governance, PMO, or Controlling function.
