Primary Objectives Of Position:

Trans Ova Genetics is seeking 1 Client Service intern at our Sioux Center, IA location. This position would be focused on learning how to establish and maintain strong relationships with our core clients as well as the day-to-day interactions between all departments within the Sioux Center location.  

Major Areas Of Accountability:

  • Collect and analyze production data or data associated with storage of old inventories. 
  • Learn and understand the TOG core values system. 
  • Provide support to our CSR team. 
  • Assist with client pick up and drop offs of frozen inventories. 
  • Attend cattle shows as needed alongside the marketing team. 
  • Be willing to work with TOG full-time staff as well as independently calling on customers. 
  • Answering incoming client phone calls and assist them or be able to get them to the proper individual within the company for assistance. 

Qualifications:

  • Base to moderate knowledge of the bovine reproductive system 
  • Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred 
  • Comfortable in an office setting 
  • Able to travel for the company as needed 
  • Must possess communication and people skills and an ability to talk through difficult conversations 
  • High attention to detail and planning/organizational skills 
  • Computer skills are required 
  • Passion for the cattle industry, either beef or dairy related
