Civil Engineering Intern - Transportation (Summer 2026)

Your Opportunity

Stantec's multi-disciplinary office in Mechanisburg, PA has an opportunity for a highly motivated Civil/Transportation Engineering Intern interested in working with our roadway design group.

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include CAD drafting, design calculations, assist in developing engineer's estimates, and other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support our transportation design, group. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic professional who is interested in growth on a professional and personal level. Your Capabilities and Credentials

Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D) and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.

Commitment to contribute to an organization where client service is a top priority.

Education And Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Civil Engineering Program.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
