Develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates the continuous quality improvement activities for assigned populations. Works independently and leads specific work groups. Performs ongoing analysis of gaps in clinical care and barriers to care, aligning interventions with the strategic plan. Facilitates the organization's performance improvement process in collaboration with project team leader(s). Conducts training/education programs for the organization staff and physicians in performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, as well as other subjects related to performance improvement.
• Bachelors Degree required.
• Masters degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred.
• Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience. Microsoft Office skills to include: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and SharePoint. May require knowledge of data entry systems (e.g. NCQA IDSS/ISS tools, electronic health records, supplemental databases, HEDIS software tools). Occasional local travel (no overnight).
