Associate Product Manager

Job Type Full-time Description

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams under the guidance of a Product Manager to assist in designing, building, and launching products that deliver on Planet Depos’ vision and strategy.

The Associate Product Manager works with the Product Manager and leadership team to support the development of new software product concepts, designs, and enhancements to existing products. They conduct research and develop a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors. They assist with product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including supporting the gathering and prioritizing of product requirements. They also develop requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts. They participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, and testing.

Associate Product Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Support translation of business strategy into product strategy.
• Support translation of product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Help maintain the software strategy roadmap for the company.
• Conduct research and develop a good understanding of customer needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.
• Assist in scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams and the Product Manager to support product launches and ensure timely completion of implementations.
• Help drive action throughout the organization to get products delivered quickly.
• Support the Product Manager in overseeing the development and improvement of products.
• Understand the customer experience to help determine potential future requirements.
• Measure and understand user behavior with products.

Associate Product Manager Location:

Fully Remote

Associate Product Manager Compensation:

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• This position is not eligible for overtime.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the software or legal industry.
• 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a product management-related role 
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Atlassian, Asana, etc.).
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Solid organizational and planning skills.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus.
• Experience in the legal industry, business management software, and web portals is beneficial.
• Software UX and UI sensibility.
