Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, product availability, and sales growth across all retail and distribution channels.
Lead Trade marketing team to ensure smooth execution of Trade marketing activities (promotion, loyalty customer programs, display programs, etc). This role is pivotal in bridging marketing and sales, ensuring consistent brand representation and impactful in-store and online execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Develop annual trade marketing plans aligned with brand strategy and commercial goals.
• Lead the planning and execution of product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities across channels.
• Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, category trends, and competitive analysis.
Retail & Channel Management
• Build strong relationships with key retail partners to secure premium visibility and support.
• Oversee the creation and deployment of POS materials, visual merchandising, and in-store activation.
• Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimize promotional mechanics.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Proactively collaborate Brand, Sales, and Supply Chain teams & Other departments to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives & common goals.
• Liaise with regional/local marketing teams to localize assets and campaigns effectively.
• Partner with agencies and vendors for creative development and production.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Monitor campaign performance and ROI across channels.
• Analyze sell-out data, consumer behavior, and promotional effectiveness to refine strategies.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.
• Cooperate with sales team to track sales performance, highlight if any issues and suggest actions on weekly basis.
Human Resources Development
• Set individual key performance indicators for direct reports and manage their performance to ensure team is performing on track.
• Work with Division Director and HRBP in people related matters of direct reports (e.g. building development plans for high-performers, staffing, performance management, recognition & rewards.)
- Budget Management
- • Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum impact.
- • Track spending and ensure alignment with financial forecasts & Brand Head.
- • To execute projects or other assignments as requested by the Company or Line Manager
- Qualifications
- • University BA graduate.
- • 5 years’ experience in FMCG/Retails environment.
