Analytical Development Science & Compliance Co-Op
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Conduct and execute hands-on analytical laboratory work and development activities;
- Develop and conduct assay, related compounds and dissolution analytical methods of Drug Products, APIs and Excipients to characterize these materials;
- Conduct analytical testing to support stability study, transformative science study and other fundamental scientific and analytical studies;
- Conduct data analysis and interpret results after each experiment completed;
- Present to AD peers and other cross-functional teams when needed;
- Work with supervisor to design and execute experimental studies to make quick formulation decisions and critical scientific understanding;
- Support other analytical infrastructure team activities such as metrology and stability programs;
- Interact regularly with members of analytical development teams and other functional groups within the Development Center.
Who You Are
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor student in Chemistry or related field;
- Hands-on chemical laboratory experience, including data analysis and interpretation;
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects;
- Strong computerskills - Microsoft Office/ Excel/ PowerPoint;
- Good communication skills;
- Has a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with chromatography and related instrumentation;
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.10 to $46.30. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
