Job Title: Deputy Manager – People & Culture (P&C)

Location: Vento Plant, Chennai

Reporting To: P&C Manager

Description: The Deputy Manager – P&C will play a pivotal role in driving a positive workplace culture, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening industrial relations. This position demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing workforce dynamics in a manufacturing setup. 

Your Task:

• Manage and maintain harmonious labour relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely resolution of grievances and disputes. 
• Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of statutory reports.
• Design and implement strategies to build a sustainable Blue Collar to White Collar (BC to WC) talent pipeline.

Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Human Resources (MBA-HR / MSW-HRM / MLM)
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably in the manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, IR practices, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in English, Tamil, and Hindi (preferred)
• Willingness to travel as required
