We are looking a Shipping Coordinator to add to our team at our Modesto, CA plant!
Summary: Coordinating the day-to-day operations for all aspects of logistics, including distribution, inventory, and shipping/receiving. Arrange the warehousing and shipping of the product to customers. Complete, distribute, and file all related paperwork.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for performing tasks involved in traffic logistics management, including delivery creation, invoicing, product distribution, and inventory control.
- Send, accept, record, and file all goods movements in and out of the plant.
- Responsible for tasks involving material receiving, including verification, receipt documentation, invoicing, tagging, and filing.
- Maintains internal record-keeping systems.
- Assist in Inventory counts.
- General Inventory Management as assigned.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Contacts transport companies to track, update, and expedite, if necessary, shipments.
- Provide services that guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of goods manufactured by third parties inside or outside the organization.
- Create Customs documentation for incoming and outgoing loads.
- Submit and update reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- General administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with all H&S regulations.
- Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
- Follow Compliance requirements per “KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities.”
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years' experience working in logistics and/or supply chain management.
Other Skills And Requirements:
- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook and SAP
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Must be extremely proactive, organized and deadline oriented.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
- A team player, who should also be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Customer Service oriented.
- Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills.
