We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain manager focusing on driving customer service and warehouse efficiency in Vantaa. In this position you will assist our Clinical Diagnostics and Microbiology Divisions in Vantaa. You will collaborate with other functional leaders, global and divisional supply chain teams, and interested parties to incorporate supply chain strategies and requirements into the business. This important role is under the direct supervision of the Operations Director.
What will you do?
- Ensure the supply capability for Vantaa site products to meet customer delivery requirements, measured by on-time-delivery and back orders.
- Translate strategic goals into departmental goals; ensure implementation of long-range plans to achieve or exceed goals.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture.
- Develop budgets and staffing requirements consistent with business unit targets.
- Implement key business metrics to drive desired results and behavior.
- Take charge of guiding the customer service, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Ensure quality systems are effectively maintained and aligned with GMP/FDA/ISO-13485/CE-IVD requirements.
- Review operations procedures to ensure they are accurate, concise, and current.
- Analyze operational problems and secure technical advice to guarantee continuous product availability.
- Promote the best environment for Operations personnel, including recruiting, training, professional development, and performance management.
How will you get here?
- Graduated (University or advanced technical college) in Industrial Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of work experience in supply chain or operations, including leadership responsibility.
- Proficient communication skills in spoken and written Finnish and English.
- Good IT skills and experience in MS Office tools, ERP, and PLM systems.
- Experience in a regulated industry and working in a global setup is valued.
