Being responsible for identification, analysis and execution of the activities related to process improvement initiatives within Claims service business

1.  Improve Claims Service Process

Scope, manage, observe and analyze the operational processes in order to identify waste and inefficient steps.

Coordination of teams involved in activities when the new efficiency process is implemented.

Deliver and support process improvement training to staff.

Promote, facilitate and develop a continuous improvement culture across the service process.

2.  Claims Quality Audit

Perform risk analysis to determine customers, agents and hospital networks and areas of concern with the issues to be audited

Review and analyse Claims reports to identify utilization patterns and suspicious customers and agents who may be abusing the program.

Provide claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating and auditing claims service payment.

Share best practice and feedback to team to reduce errors and improve processes.

Implement and monitor case action until case is closed.

Provide management level input/report on claims challenged.

Develop new audit concepts for increased quality services.

3. Loss Prevention

Analyze claims patterns to identify underlying causes and work with team to devise effective measures to control losses prior to becoming claims.

Provide training to team on claims and loss prevention in claims part to facilitate improved claims practices and loss control.

Develop some procedures which help to reduce claims such as send the warning letter to agents for  high claims customers to ask them to closely take care their customers.

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years experience in Claims Management, Complaint Management, Underwriting, or other related fields in insurance industry
  • Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
