Job Description
With the continued growth of the KordaMentha business, we are expanding our Melbourne based internal Finance team and are seeking a detail oriented Tax Analyst. This internal role is to support the KordaMentha business and family office structure.
This is a great opportunity for someone gain experience across a variety of areas including tax compliance, accounting, Real Estate projects and investment administration, whilst being supported by a close knit and experienced team.
Responsibilities:
- Tax compliance including preparation of tax return workpapers, BAS, FBT, Taxable Payments, ABN and tax registrations including GST, FATCA & CRS compliance.
- Tax and Accounting policy, procedure and compliance documentation review and update.
- Maintaining investment registers and documentation.
- Assisting the team with reporting, research and analysis as required.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar.
- CAANZ or CPA qualified or part-qualified.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of tax compliance requirements in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and application.
- Management reporting and analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics FinOps and Financial Reporter is beneficial.
- Be flexible to work on projects and manage workload to deadlines.
