We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager / Social Media Content Manager to join us for the Summer 2026 season on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who works the winter season elsewhere and is seeking an exciting, fast-paced summer placement.About Watersplash Known locally as “The Splash”, Watersplash is a unique beachside bar, diner, and nightclub nestled in the heart of St Ouen's Bay. What Exactly You Will Be Doing…
As Duty Manager / Social Media Content Manager, you’ll play a vital dual role within the business, combining hands-on operational leadership with digital brand management. Key Responsibilities: Operational SupportSupport the Management Team in the day-to-day operations of the bar, diner, nightclub, and event spaces, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Guest Experience
Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of customer service across all areas of the venue, ensuring guests have a memorable and positive experience.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise, motivate, and support front-line staff during shifts. Contribute to the training and ongoing development of team members to enhance skills, boost morale, and ensure consistent service quality.
Shift Management
Act as the primary point of contact during duty shifts, overseeing venue operations, handling customer issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
Social Media Management
Assist the management team in overseeing all social media channels, including planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content, as well as responding to audience interactions.
Visual Media Production
Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality content including photography, video, reels, and stories that reflect the venue’s brand and atmosphere.

Does The Below Sound Like You?
You are:Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.Confident in leading teams and taking ownership of your shift.A natural communicator — both in-person and online.Energetic, self-motivated, and highly organised.Creative and skilled in social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).Tech-savvy with an understanding of current trends in social media and digital marketing. Flexible, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, varied environment. You have:A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory or managerial hospitality role.Proven experience managing social media channels for a business or brand.Strong command of English, both written and spoken.A qualification in Hospitality or Marketing (preferred but not essential)
