Job Description
Are you ready to ensure financial integrity and compliance while supporting the growth of Lely in Mexico? Lely is expanding its business and entering the Mexican market. As Manager Finance & Compliance, you will be the key link between the Mexican operation and our headquarters in the Netherlands. You will combine accurate financial management with strong governance, risk oversight, and compliance responsibilities, safeguarding ethical business conduct in all aspects of the local organization.
You will work closely with the Global Markets Director, the Finance Business Partner Global Markets, the Director Legal and the Compliance Department. In addition, you will collaborate intensively with the local Mexican team, including the Country Sales Lead and the Technical Service & Support (TSS) and Farm Management Support (FMS) teams. You will also serve as the primary local contact for auditors, legal advisors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with HQ standards and policies. Occasional business travel to the Netherlands is required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial management, including processing transactions, reconciling balance sheets, and preparing financial statements according to local and international standards.
- Monitor and secure compliance with local laws and corporate policies, acting as the primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors, and proactively identifying and mitigating financial and legal risks.
- Establish, maintain, and improve internal control mechanisms, conduct periodic audits, and implement process improvements to strengthen governance and risk management.
- Oversee operational and administrative activities, including office and fleet management, payroll coordination, training registration, and HR support for recruitment and onboarding.
- Build strong working relationships with local teams, HQ colleagues, and external stakeholders, sharing compliance and financial knowledge to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly reliable and proactive professional with a strong financial and compliance background, able to navigate complex regulations and implement structured processes. You have demonstrable experience working in an international environment, communicate clearly across functions, and uphold the highest ethical standards.
