Job Description
Your Contribution To Something Big:
You will have the opportunity to join one of the application software development teams of the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Comfort, located in Aveiro.
Your work will focus on software development activities, using a model-based development framework, and the coordination of an efficient working model with internal and external partners. Heat pumps offer a heating and/or cooling solution for the household, as well as domestic hot water, for the best and most efficient comfort at home.
In This Position, You Will:
- Develop application software for Air-to-Water Heat Pumps;
- Take part of an agile team where you will implement models and functions to control Heat Pumps mainly in MATLAB Simulink (and C/C++ for maintenance of older products);
- Take responsibility that our design guidelines and high-quality principles are applied in your work;
- Ensure that the delivery of your assigned work meets the projects’ timelines.
Qualifications
What Distinguishes You:
Education: Degree in Electronic, Electrical and Computers, or Mechanical Engineering (or similar);
Experience:
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge and experience in MATLAB and Simulink (model-based development);
- Experience in building automation and HVAC systems;
Know-How:
- Knowledge of modern DevOps (particularly the Atlassian toolchain and Jenkins);
- Knowledge and experience in C/C++ (other object-oriented languages are also valued);
- Knowledge of data bus communication (e.g., CAN, Modbus, LIN);
Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese;
Working Style: Organized, collaborative, and proactive with strong planning skills;
Personality: Responsible, self-driven, eager to innovate and learn, with willingness to collaborate with international teams – this includes willingness for occasional business travel.
