Base Pay Range: $60,571 – $83,286

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Position Summary

The EDI Specialist plays a key role in supporting the IT, sales, and supply chain departments by managing integrations with external partners, via EDI, APIs, and OCR tools. This position is responsible for expanding our integration footprint, coordinating with application vendors to troubleshoot issues, and providing frontline support for both suppliers and customers. The EDI coordinator works closely with both the customer service and supply chain teams to ensure critical files are received without failure. The ideal candidate brings strong organization and communication skills, a background in EDI and other integration tools, and a proven ability to pick up new technologies. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and mission critical environment.

This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Systems

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, customer service reps, and integration vendors, ensuring responsive and effective communication.
  • Provide operational support and coordination to facilitate smooth daily workflows.
  • Manage and execute assigned integration tasks in line with team goals and timelines.
  • Ensure Data accuracy across all relevant systems and platforms.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing integrations and assist with selecting the correct technology for new integrations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in electronic data interchange (EDI) coordination, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in EDI tools and mapping software 
  • Strong communication, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve EDI transaction errors

Preferred

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, or distribution environments with EDI requirements
  • Familiarity with ERP systems specifically Oracle EBS R12 and EDI standards 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly as new priorities arise in a dynamic business environment
  • Passion for improving operational efficiency, supporting seamless trading partner communication, and contributing to a collaborative team culture
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and client-facing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trading partner accounts, support implementation projects, and troubleshoot EDI transactions end-to-end

  • Exposure to moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, and temperature changes in production areas.
  • PPE may be required in specific areas (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection)
  • Standard hours Monday through Friday; occasional overtime or travel may be required
  • Exposure to various manufacturing, warehousing, or related industrial locations.
