Job Description

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Analyze market data, industry trends, and internal metrics to inform decision-making and strategy development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in category management
• Oversee and mentor junior category managers, fostering a high-performance team culture
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks within assigned categories Present category performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership
• Drive sustainability initiatives within assigned categories, aligning with company ESG goals

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics/Technical Studies, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing, preferably in the consumer goods industry
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP system
• Advanced project management and crossfunctional team leadership abilities
• In-depth knowledge of global supply chain management and automotive industry trends
• Experience with market analysis and pricing strategies in the automotive sector
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Fluency in English
