Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead our Emulation and FPGA infrastructure initiatives. This role is critical to enabling high-performance ASIC and firmware development through advanced emulation platforms and a scalable FPGA farm. You will be responsible for driving platform strategy, supporting global development teams, and integrating cutting-edge automation and GenAI methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Emulation Platform Strategy & Execution
- Lead the definition, bring-up, and support of emulation builds using Cadence Palladium and Protium platforms.
- Evaluate and drive adoption of next-generation emulation hardware.
- Promote and expand emulation usage across ASIC and firmware teams, including simulation acceleration for DFT and UPF low-power simulation.
Fpga Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and support local FPGA hardware installations to enable a robust and scalable FPGA farm.
- Act as a liaison for lab health and configuration between different sites.
- Develop and manage outsourcing capabilities
Global Firmware Support
- Provide firmware end-user support for programs staffed in the APEC region.
- Ensure seamless integration and platform usability across geographically distributed teams.
Automation & GenAI Integration
- Oversee development of automation tools and GenAI methodologies to monitor farm health and enhance platform capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ASIC development, hardware emulation, or FPGA systems.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management
- Hands-on experience with industry standard emulation platforms
- Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, lab infrastructure, and simulation acceleration techniques.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to build consensus and drive ideas from concept to implementation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing global teams and remote lab environments.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and automation frameworks.
- Prior experience supporting firmware development environments and infrastructure.
