Plant Manager - Aerospace / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily operations of a 24/7 operations plant including safety, quality, and management of a team of over 100.  
• Review current headcount and skillset and align with customer guidance including request for training, recruiting, and sharing resources with other programs  
• Analyze reports and assign corrective actions for work quality, employee attendance, and requests needed from clients 
• Support daily human resource related activities including timecard approval, employee interviews, employee promotions, employee investigations, employee disciplinary action, and other tasks as needed 
• Coordinate with the technical team to ensure technical training is given for new hires, promotions, and daily review.  
• Main point of contact for client meetings  
• Ensure transparency of site success with SQA leadership via meetings, KPIs, and clear communication 
• Responsible for ensuring site policies are clear, training is given, and applied consistently between onsite SQA management   
• Support Program Coordinators to track employee equipment 

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow inspection plans and protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret basics of an engineering drawing.
• Strong organizational and computer skills including Microsoft office suite.
• Ability to work effectively within a quality management system.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• ITAR Compliant
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, crawl in small spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aerospace industry experience
• 5+ years in a leadership position
